WHO is eligible to perform and cheer at the Texas vs The Nation Bowl Game?
There are two separate groups involved in the Bowl Game.
College: College Cheer Squads will be cheering on the sidelines during the game, and also be highlighted or featured during the Half-Time Performance.
Cheerleaders 4th-12th Grade: Cheerleaders in 4th-12th Grade who are affiliated with an All Star or Junior High Cheer Squad will perform with the College Squads during the Half-Time Performance. Cheerleaders in 9th-12th Grades may also perform as an individual if their school is not coming as a stunt group or squad. Schools or All Star teams may combine individuals to make stunt groups for the performance. For example, you may have a back spot and one base from your High School Squad, and another base and the flyer from your Junior High Squad. There will be stunts in the choreography, if you are a 9th-12th Grade cheerleader participating without a stunt group, you may perform in the Half-Time Show, but you will not be added to a stunt group. You will be performing the tumbling, jumps, cheer and dance portions of the Choreography.
